Ukulele Soprano

Soprano Mahgany and Maple Ukulele. I wanted to try out some technic on wood shaping and thought of these nice ukulele to try it on.

The first thing I made after making the template was a mold to shape the sides.

After shaping the sides and gluing them, I leveled it on my sanding board.

I cut out the neck and shaped it with the heel, ready to join with the body.

I chose to laminate the sound panel for a nicer look. Mahogany and walnut.

Re-enforced the sound boards .

Calculated and cut the frets. I also added the marker dots.

Installed the bridge.

Lastly I oiled the wood with Tru Oil. All the colors came out .

I also installed a piezo and a volume for future playing. So here is the final result. My first ukulele made from scratch. Very happy of the result.
