Pineapple Soprano

Pine Apple Style Ukulele. Cedar sound board and mahogany sides. I wanted a different sound and the round shape really gives that sound.
I sanded the sides down to 3/32″ with a table spindle sander and finished my hand.

After making the template, I made the mold forms and bent the sides made of mahogany.
I then glued the sides to the tail and neck joint block.

I glued the kerfing to the sides.
I wanted to add a little touch to the end with maple.

re-enforced the sound boards.
neck is being prepared for the frets

gluing the bridge and neck
Installed the piezo and volume

finishing with Tru Oil
This is the final result. I might add inlays later but the sound is really nice and round. Very nice to play.
